The Site is operated in Japan, and personal information is handled within the framework of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI).

For enquirers in Taiwan or elsewhere, ITADAKI JAPAN respects the data protection requirements that apply to them, without asserting any specific certification, seal or formal statement of compliance.

This policy applies to all language versions of the Site and to correspondence arising from the consultation form.

Consultation form: name, e-mail address, telephone number, LINE ID, country or region, preferred language, purpose of the enquiry, indicative investment range, and the message you write.

Technical information: IP address, user agent (browser and device information) and access logs (time of access, pages viewed, referring source).

Beyond these fields we do not ask you to supply sensitive information such as passport numbers or bank account details. Please do not enter unnecessary sensitive information in the message field.

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, and provide the follow-up and explanations your request requires.

To coordinate with partner specialists — only with your consent, and only to the extent that coordination requires. Without your consent, your information is not passed to any partner specialist.

To keep the Site secure and to prevent spam, unauthorised access and other misuse.

Where analytics are enabled, to understand general usage in aggregate and improve the content and usability of the Site.

To meet obligations under applicable law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Partner specialists: independent, separately engaged professionals in fields such as real estate, tax, law, judicial and administrative scrivener work, M&A and residency. Sharing is limited to what the coordination requires and is subject to your prior consent.

Service providers: the Site relies on external providers for hosting, e-mail delivery, spam protection and, where enabled, analytics. Those providers handle information only as needed to supply their service. Individual vendors are not named in this policy.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise trade personal information. Disclosure to others occurs only where required by law, or where urgently necessary to protect life, health or property.

Information is, as a rule, handled and stored in Japan.

Enquirers may be located in Taiwan or in other countries or regions. In that case the information you provide is transferred from your location to Japan, and by submitting an enquiry you acknowledge that transfer.

Some service providers may operate servers or support functions outside Japan. Where that is so, we require protection consistent with this policy.

Cookies or equivalent technologies may be used for basic functions such as remembering your language selection.

Analytics are carried out only where that function is enabled, and only to understand usage in aggregate. Analytics data alone is not used to identify an individual.

You may refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working as intended.

Information relating to an enquiry is kept for as long as the purpose of use requires, and is then deleted or anonymised unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

Access logs are retained for a reasonable period for security purposes.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No transmission over the internet, however, can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may request access to, correction of, addition to, suspension of the use of, or deletion of the personal information held about you, and you may withdraw a consent you have given at any time.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of handling carried out before it, and may mean that we can no longer continue to respond to your enquiry.

To make a request, please use the method described in the next section. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity.

This policy may be revised to reflect changes in law or in the service. A revised version takes effect when it is published on the Site, and material changes will be indicated clearly.
